Moab

Ok so I know this was like forever ago, but I want to share the pictures! Treesa and Riley, Steven and Laura, and Nate and I went to moab over Memorial weekend!! I have never been to moab (at least from what I can remember) and it was absolutely BEAUTIFUL. Our family used to be so into camping and hiking, but as we all got older, we stopped going! I was just blown away by how beautiful it was! The hike to delicate arch was by far the most amazing hike I have ever done! The entire way I kept blabbering on about how pretty everything was! I'm sure I got annoying.. :) Even through the massive wind storms that broke our tent causing us to leave early, it was still a blast to be with friends and family!

We also witnessed a VERY scary motorcycle accident! The guy came around the turn right before the bridge going into the main street of Moab way too fast and skidded on some gravel and flipped over his bike. And NO, he wasn't wearing a helmet! Nate was the first too him made sure he was breathing! My phone for some reason didn't have service so luckily there was another couple that stopped and called 911. When the paramedics finally came, they made Nate hold the guys jaw in a certain position while they worked on him. Nate got blood all over his hands and shorts! Gross! The police made us fill out witness forms and everything! It was the most intense/scary/shocking experience ever! People seriously wear a helmet and clothing when you are on a motorcycle or scooter! The police said it was the 2nd motorcycle accident that day but the girl was wearing a helmet and was able to walk away from it. This guy was still unconscious when they took him away!

Anyway, here are a few fun pictures from our trip!

Delicate Arch
I seriously thought I was going to be blown away standing there!

Really windy!!

Our husbands were so adventurous!

Cute brother sister moment. :)

Giving in

                                    Hello Blogging world!
I have given in! You know, you really can only be pestered so many times before giving in to something! Although, I really am excited to start writing about our life (as boring as it may seem) for the future. I have NEVER been good at journal writing, so hopefully I will be able to keep this up. I've heard of people printing out their blogs each year, (aka complete scrapbook, YES) which I think is pretty fun. Wouldn't you love to read about your parents first years of being married, when they had their first baby, when they made an awesome dinner, and how tough it was when they had 4 kids under the age of 4?? Maybe it's just me but I would LOVE to read about how they got through their problems and learn from them! My parents have been such a blessing in my life and I am grateful from what I have learned from them for my future family. Anyway.. I hope whoever reads this will get a few laughs here and there. And you can bet I'll be posting some tasty recipes! Have a wonderful WARM summer week! :)
